COURSE OVERVIEW
The Microfinance Apprenticeship Programme (MAP) is a collaboration between the Uganda Institute of Banking and Financial Services (UIBFS) and German Sparkassenstiftung Eastern Africa (DSIK). Launched with the aim of enhancing microfinance institutions and SACCOs in Uganda, MAP is designed to provide individuals with the essential skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience needed to thrive in the microfinance sector.
MAP integrates the Dual Apprenticeship System (DAS) and Competency-Based Training (CBT) approaches:

Loan Officers, Credit Analysts, Branch Managers, Supervisors, Managers, Microfinance Specialists, Client Relationship Managers, Microfinance Consultants, Financial Inclusion Specialists, Community Outreach Officers, Microfinance Project Managers, Microfinance Entrepreneurs, Micro-lending Firm Owners and Directors, Microfinance Interns, Microfinance Program Coordinators, and anyone else interested in microfinance.
