COURSE OVERVIEW
The course is designed to cover the following: • Understanding the rationale of regulations, from a BOU perspective. • Disclosure requirements and prohibited activities in relation to banking. • Compliance with Financial Institution Act 2004. • Scope of the various statistical and statutory returns submitted to BOU. • Filling and completing returns (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly returns). • Harmonization of IFRS and regulatory reporting. • Annual and quarterly accounts publications. • Understanding the Basel core principles of Bank Supervision. • Anti-Money Laundering Regulation
COURSE OBJECTIVE
At the end of this training, participants will be able to: • Interact with others in the application of policies and procedures. • Organise self in relation to application of policies and procedures. • Collect, analyse, organise and critically evaluate information related to monitoring the effectiveness of the policies and procedures. • Demonstrate awareness of the risks, price and implications of nonconformance. • Devise collective actions in the event of noncompliance.
