As part of its research component, the Institute offers assessment and evaluation services as an external partner to organizations seeking to assess their programs, products, and performance.
The Information and Membership Services Department of the Institute is particularly responsible for the information services function of its members, students, trainers and resource persons. The department manages the Institute library, publications, public lectures, as well as other social and membership events throughout the year.
The Uganda Institute of Banking and Financial Services' Library (UIBFSL) is the one stop centre for information, documentation and research services on Banking and Microfinance in Uganda, as well as Business Information in general. The Institute library provides its users access to over 3000 books, over 50 Journal titles, produced both locally and internationally, Ugandan local newspapers, research services a documentation centre and internet services.
