Although many organizations use internal resources for evaluating their programs, products, and performance, relying solely on internal assessments can limit the usefulness of the data collected and lead to costly errors that can damage an organization's reputation.

As part of its research component, the Institute offers assessment and evaluation services as an external partner to organizations seeking to assess their programs, products, and performance.

The Information and Membership Services Department of the Institute is particularly responsible for the information services function of its members, students, trainers and resource persons. The department manages the Institute library, publications, public lectures, as well as other social and membership events throughout the year.
