This course provides skills on how to plan, analyse, design and create visual solutions to communication problems using color, illustration, photography, animation, and produce all of the business graphics typically used by business today. You will get skills on the design and production of magazine, newspapers, brochures, wedding and pledges cards, produce promotional displays, packaging, design distinctive logos for products and businesses, develop signage and materials for Internet Web pages, interactive media, and multimedia projects. Students complete the course with a practical project that entails all the modules covered during training.

MINIMUM ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

To be admitted for this course leading to the Award of Certificate in Graphics, a candidate must know English with a good background of basic computing skills.

TRAINING SESSIONS:

Each session lasts 2 hours from Monday to Friday, plus one hour of practice. The schedule of training is indicated below:

  • 09:00 am-12:00 pm
  • 02:00 pm- 05:00 pm
  • 05:00 pm- 08:00 pm

EXAMINATION: Practical examination

CERTIFICATION:

Successful students will be awarded a Certificate in the names of "The Uganda Institute of Banking and Financial Services". No extra money is charged for the certificate.
